Montessori Madness - March 3rd

Learn the who, what, where and why of         Montessori education. 

Trevor Eissler, author of Montessori Madness, will present his success when he applied the Montessori philosophy to his own career as a pilot. This event is free to anyone interested in Montessori education. You can purchase a copy of Trevor’s book for $20.

 March 3rd, 10th & 17th

Kids Design Engineering Workshop 

The first and second graders will participate in a three-part series presented by the DuPage Children’s Museum. The final presentation will be a field trip on March 17th. The cost is $30.

March 9th - Vision and Hearing Screening

Vision and Hearing Screening for preschool children ages 3-5 years old on March 9th. DuPage County Health Department’s cost is $9.00 per child. 

PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES!

School will be closed Friday, March 12th for Parent-Teacher conferences. Please schedule an appointment with your child’s teacher for the second school conference.

The 3-6 classes will visit Fullersburg Woods in Oak Brook to learn how maple syrup is made. The program includes a puppet show and a short trail hike through the woods with a naturalist. The students investigate the cultural and natural history of Maple trees and their sap.

Children learn first-hand how a tree is tapped and will sample “raw” and partially cooked sap, leading them to taste the real thing on ice cream. 

Children should dress appropriately for the weather. The cost is $10.

March 23rd - Vision and Hearing Re-Screening

DuPage County Health Department will come out and re-screen children who were absent for the initial screening or need to be retested.
